OUR MULTI-MEDIA BLASTING SERVICES

Surface Preparation

We offer a variety of blasting techniques to achieve the best surface prep for your project, from sandblasting to sponge and ice blasting. With years of experience we can recommend the best technique for you. We are continuously adding new techniques and technology to our fleet in order to ensure we can provide the best and most advance services for our clients.

Sandblasting

Sandblasting is an abrasive blasting process where fine particles of a chosen abrasive are fired through a blasting pot and out of a nozzle, removing contaminant such as paints and carbon leaving the surface underneath clean and free from contaminant.

Multi-Media Blasting

Multi-media blasting is a process very similar to sandblasting were fine media particles are blasted through a nozzle for the purpose of removing contaminants and preparing the underlying surface. For example using shot blasting can prepare steel beams to a British Standard SA2.5 for paint application.

Dust Free Blasting

Dust free blasting is a process were we use media mixed with water vapour to ensure there is no dust plooming, similar to that caused by open dry blasting. This process is ideal for internal paint removal from brick or working outside a built up area.

Non-Abrasive Blasting

Non-Abrasive Soda Blasting is a blasting process using bi-carbonate soda which is ideal for removing carbon from brick or stone buildings, smoke damage or remaining … from green oak.

Dry Ice Blasting

Dry ice blasting is a non-abrasive blast cleaning system which creates no secondary waste stream using 3mm dry ice pellets we can easily clean power generation equipment, factory machinery in situ electrical equipment, fire and smoke damage, oak beam restoration.
